100% Made in Italy
In the financial act 2004 the Italian Government provided for for the definition of 100% Made-in-Italy products.
Promindustria Spa has been appointed by the ITPI to develop a voluntary certification through the 100% Made-in-Italy Certificate mark.
THE CERTIFICATION
The ITPI has developed its own guidelines whereby Manufacturers producing entirely in Italy can get the certification and therefore the possibility of using the relative certification marks.

PROCEDURE FOR THE CERTIFICATION AND INCLUSION IN THE NATIONAL REGISTRY OR ITALIAN MANUFACTURERS
1.Request from the Manufacturer through a self-certification
2.Provisional approval
3.Authorization to use certification marks
4.Filling the certification guidelines forms
5.Final decision by the technical committee and registration in the NATIONAL REGISTRY OF ITALIAN MANUFACTURERS
In order to properly value Italian Products, the Istituto has intorduced a Certification System called "MADE IN ITALY CERTIFICATE" 100% Original Italian Quality so that Producers can distinguish their products from those of uncertain origin and provide consumers with a guarantee on origin and quality.
Upon request of artisanal companies manufacturing luxury entirely handmade luxury products, the Istituto has integrated the guidelines for the 100% made-in-italy Certification with an appendix and a new trademark called "HANDMADE IN ITALY".
The Company obtaining the certification will be registered in the NATIONAL REGISTRY OF ITALIAN PRODUCERS; Moreover, the use of the anti-counterfeit trademarks of the Handmade in Italy Certificate will allow the producer to communicate to and guarantee the consumers of the unmistakeably Italian origin of the product.
REQUISITES FOR THE HANDMADE IN ITALY 100% CERTIFICATE
Products must be:
Handmade
with own trademarks
Entirely made in Italy
made using Italian parts
made using natural first choice quality materials
made on company's own design.
Made using traditional Italian working methods.

The 100% Made in Italy Certification provides consumers with the guarantee on the Italian orgin and the quality of purchased products.
The certification adheres to all parameters provided for by current Italian legislation: Adoption of the certification guidelines, definition of procedures, management through modules and printouts.
The certification is issued by the Istituto Tutela Produttori Italiani. The management of the certification process with the producers is handled by Promindustria SPA.
The certification project has been approved and co-funded by the Italian Ministry for Economic Development.
Manufacturers issued with the 100% Made in Italy Certification undergo a series of checks in order to verify that the entire production cycle takes place in Italy.
The Certification follows the directives set in current Italian laws.
→ Manufacturers can guarantee the value of the product which has entirely been made in Italy.
→ Distributors can effectively justify the different cost of true Italian Products compared to those made entirely or partially abroad.
