It is carried out with all the specific parameters provided by current Italian legislation: Adoption of the certification guidelines, definition of procedures, management of actions through forms and prints.
The certification is issued by the Institute for the Protection of Italian Producers.
The investigation and management of relations with the company for certification are carried out by Promindustria S.p.A.
Companies with the 100% Made in Italy Certification undergo a series of accurate checks aimed at certifying that the entire production cycle is carried out entirely in Italy.
The Certification is carried out with all the parameters provided by current Italian legislation.

- The 100% Made in Italy Certification issued by the Institute for the Protection of Italian Producers is carried out in line with the parameters provided by current Italian legislation:
Law no. 166 article 16 of November 20, 2009. - The company requests the certification declaring to possess the requirements (entirely Italian production, Italian semi-finished products, first-choice materials, own style, typical traditional workmanship).
- The company fills out the guidelines and provides documentation proving the existence of the declared requirements.
- The Institute will carry out on-site inspections to ascertain the requirements and the conformity of the documented to the declared.
- The investigation and management of relations with the company for the Certification are carried out by the delegated body Promindustria SpA. Accounting firms throughout the national territory are authorized to carry out the investigation.
Controls, both preventive and periodic, are carried out directly by the Institute or by specially delegated external bodies or professionals.

The submission of the certification request does not automatically constitute the granting of the certification. Companies must possess the essential requirements provided by the guidelines and the sector appendix. The ITPI technical committee meets monthly for deliberations.
