MADE IN ITALY 100% CERTIFICATE
Products entirly manufactured in Italy are now issued with a certification which guarantees the high quality standards of Italian style as well as the 100% made in Italy production.
Thanks to this certification retailers can be sure of the authentic Italian origin of the products that they are buying. The Institute guarantees the authentic Italian origin only for those products that display its distinguishing anti-counterfeit signs.
DISTINGUISHING SIGNS
The distinguishing sign carries a serial number and the anti-conterfeit trademark for each product.
The trademark indicates the registration of the Italian producer in the National Registry of Italian Manufacturers. It appears next to or in place of the ® that stands for Registered.
The retailer can get the shop window tags, price labels and stickers from his certified supplier at no cost for them.
TRACEABILITY
Retailers can verify the authentic Italian origin of a certified product by visiting the website www.madeinitaly.org
They can also verify the authenticity of the Italian trademark and for each product they can check the real origin by typing its serial number.
HANDMADE 100% CERTIFICATE
In order properly value Italian productions, the Institute has developed a certification system called "100% authentic Italian quality MADE IN ITALY CERTIFICATE". This project guarantees consumers on the unique quality and Italian origin of products and helps manufacturers to distinguish their productions from those of doubtful origin.
Thanks to the express request of luxury handicrafs firms, the Institute has integrated its Made in Italy guidelines by introducing the "Handmade in Italy" distinguishing trademark.
This certification protects and guarantees totally handmade manufactured products.
The Institute guarantees the authentic Italian origin only of those products displaying the handmade in Italy trademark.
HEALTH AND SAFETY CERTIFICATION
GIn recent years scientific and technical information dealing with the presence of dangerous chemicals in products addressed to the consumer (clothes,shoes, accessories...) has gained growing importance.
The information on the presence of toxic substances in products have gradually put on the alert consumers and media are now fully aware of this important issue.
PROMINDUSTRIA has therefore developed the CS Certification.
Through the use of the SC trademark the Manufacturers guarantee that their manufacturing processes respect health regulation and security standards.
The 100% Made in Italy Certification provides consumers with the guarantee on the Italian orgin and the quality of purchased products.
The certification adheres to all parameters provided for by current Italian legislation: Adoption of the certification guidelines, definition of procedures, management through modules and printouts.
The certification is issued by the Istituto Tutela Produttori Italiani. The management of the certification process with the producers is handled by Promindustria SPA.
The certification project has been approved and co-funded by the Italian Ministry for Economic Development.
Manufacturers issued with the 100% Made in Italy Certification undergo a series of checks in order to verify that the entire production cycle takes place in Italy.
The Certification follows the directives set in current Italian laws.
